Google API disclosure

A clear explanation of what optional Gmail access does—and what it can never do.

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Scope requested

ARASH One uses the read-only Gmail scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. Connecting is optional and the rest of the product remains usable without it.

Purpose

The app searches for transaction-related bank alerts, receipts and invoices. It reads only the message details needed to create a suggested ledger entry: sender, subject, snippet, date and attachment indicator.

Your control

  • No email is sent, deleted, changed or moved.
  • Processing occurs locally on your device.
  • Nothing enters your ledger without individual review and approval.
  • Tokens remain in secure device credential storage and are not included in exports.

Disconnecting

Disconnect from Settings → Gmail sync → Disconnect, or revoke ARASH One from your Google Account permissions page.

Limited Use

ARASH One’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
